If you use Twitter very often, then you may be interested in learning strategies about how to earn cash on Twitter. It certainly takes time to manage relationships on Twitter, but it all can be monetized for your benefit. There are many companies who are increasingly turning to Twitter to reach the social media audience and because of this, it is actually possible to make some money using Twitter. Not only do Twitter users make money through microblogging, business owners are also learning how to monetize Twitter to increase company revenue.

Strategies on How to Monetize Twitter * Sponsored Tweets: A new trend that has arisen is company advertisers starting to use a service called “Sponsored Tweets” which allows these companies to connect with microblogging services that will tweets ads for them. If you are a small to medium-sized business, this is a great service to use for finding microbloggers who will tweet your promotions.

If you’re a regular Twitter user, then you would have developed a sizeable amount of followers, and this means that you can use Sponsored Tweets to make money with microblogging. Recently a company called IZEA made its name with a microblogging service called PayPerPost which provides a Sponsored Tweets program that connects companies with microbloggers.

Despite the fact you can make money as a company or microblogger, the downside is that it has spurred a lot of controversy and concern over the fact that Twitter users may have to sift through a lot of promotions to reach the information they seek. * HootSuite and Google AdSense: HootSuite is a third party Twitter application that provides a way for Twitter users and companies to manage their brands on Twitter. The application was just released a few months ago and helps companies to track conversations online with multiple users managing the application. HootSuite can also be used to make money using your tweets by incorporating Google AdSense in your tweets with outgoing links. In return the user has to share the tweets with outgoing links with HootSuite. For example, let’s say 6 people clicked on your tweet. If they click on your AdSense ad 6 times, 3 of those clicks will belong to HootSuite.

* EasyTweets and Subscriptions: EasyTweets provides a way for you to manage more than one Twitter account and also makes monetizing Twitter a lot easier. Due to the fact that it has a good account managing capability, a large amount of Twitter users currently use it to charge a subscription to their messages on Twitter. If you offer highly valuable and timely information such as specific news or online deals, you can charge a monthly subscription for access to your tweets. EasyTweets makes it possible to administer various accounts with various subscriptions to your tweets. It must be remembered that these are only a couple of strategies that Twitter users can use to monetize Twitter. There exist other ways that companies and Twitter users are actively using to create extra income on Twitter. With a bit of research, you can easily find other methods to monetize Twitter.

Everybody seems to be jumping on the Twitter bandwagon. Celebrities, students, business owners and even your everyday Joe Blow, all seem to be using Twitter. People use Twitter for networking, keeping in touch with friends and family or to have an inside peek in to the lives of their favorite celebrities or random strangers. You have to admit that it can be pretty exciting getting a random “tweet” from a celebrity (or someone else you may not know) letting you in on what their doing throughout the day.

One way to have a good experience using Twitter is to garner up a group of followers. People new to Twitter often wonder why you need followers. Well, having followers will increase the chances of your tweets being seen and responded to with a retweet. Let’s face it. The main goal is to have your tweets seen immediately or soon after posting. The more followers you have the better the chances of your tweets actually been seen, which is extremely important, if Twitter is being used for networking purposes. There are many tweets going out every second and you want as many people to see your tweet as possible.

Another reason why you need followers is to increase your visibility. People tend to pay attention those already in the spotlight. You can increase your visibility by following others so that hopefully they will also follow you. Sending out retweets after getting a tweet from one of your followers helps to start twittering conversations which also aides in increasing your visibility. When people retweet to your post, you become exposed to their network which instantly increases your visibility.

If Twitter is being used for business purposes, then growing your business is another reason why you need followers. It’s easy (not to mention free) to send out a tweet about a particular product that you may be selling. You’re able to advertise your product or business to a mass audience. The chances of them being interested in your goods or services are better than cold advertising because you have already established a good tweeting relationship with them. The more followers you have will mostly likely lead to increased sales.

Increasing your social exposure is also a reason why you need followers if you’re using Twitter. When you have a follower, your tweets are not just seen by them, but also by their followers. Having followers that you interact with on a regular basis through tweets also helps your tweets to be seen through a larger network increasing your exposure which ultimately results in gaining more followers.

There are probably hundreds of other reasons why you need followers when using Twitter. One thing is for sure, if you want to have success on Twitter, jump on the bandwagon by increasing your visibility and exposure through tweeting relationships. Don’t expect thousands of followers overnight (unless you’re a celebrity). Consistency will prove the best way to eventually garner a strong base of followers.

New to Twitter and not sure what to tweet about on Twitter? Well, then you should learn few basic ground rules about twittering around. First, you must understand that you can achieve various goals by tweeting about specific things. The way in which you tweet, has got lot to do with when promoting your business identity.

As a business promoter, if you try to prove other’s business inferior and yours to be superior, it may be considered as a bad tactic. However, there are several other things that you must keep in your mind while you Tweet.

The next big thing that you must keep in your mind, whenever you wonder what to Tweet About on Twitter, is not to Tweet evil and offensive words. You may be frustrated and furious at something, or you may be high after a couple of shots of Tequila, but Tweeting evil is by no means an acceptable way to express your disgust. Remember, there are many people that see these Tweets at a time.

This will harm your personal rapport and it may reduce your followers to a good extent as well. So, before you really learn what to Tweet About on Twitter, you should try to learn what not to Tweet about on Twitter!

Remember, as a business promoter, you must be extremely careful in selecting what to Tweet About on Twitter. On one hand, you can impress your potential customers and ask instant feedback for your future campaign, but on the other hand, one wrong move can badly hamper your business image and distract your customers from believing in your business plans and moves for good!

If some past-time and social networking is all that you intend to do, then you don’t need to think what to Tweet about on Twitter, as it will hardly make any difference. However, in any case, remember not to Tweet any duplicate info, because nobody wants to read plagiarised content.

Upon doing so, your followers may run off, and the impact of your opinions may reduce as well. Folks might consider you to be a spammer, or they might just conclude that you don’t have enough knowledge on the subject, so you tweet around plagiarised content.

Furthermore, if you happen to be a very renowned entrepreneur or business owner, folks might be deeply interested in your personal life. In such cases, Tweeting 70-80% about your personal life, and squeezing in some handy business promotion within the rest 20-30% tweets may turn out to be quite successful. While people try to learn more about your personal life, whatever little you write about business in an informal way will also be read-about with equal interest as your personal info.

On the other hand, not too many will really bother to look at whatever you tweet if you try to promote a relatively new brand in a spammy way. You must understand that each and every Tweet of yours really counts a lot.

Tip 1: Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization or SEO is either taken very lightly or taken so consciously that the results are undesirable. Give around 30% of your time to understand what exactly is your business requirements or on what products/services would you get more business. What exactly are you planning to target and what is your Audience? Conduct a market analysis of it and filter our 10 key phrases that best suit your business. If your website is fresh and /or you have just started with your online business, target light-weight (less-researched) key phrases. Go for targeting more of long-tailed key-phrases rather than single key-words. Give proper Title and Meta, appropriate Alt tags. Check your content in relative to your Meta you have kept and see that your page gets easily downloaded.

Tip 2: Link Building

Once you are done with On-page optimization, put your best of efforts to gain as much inbound links you can. There are multiple ways that you can work on to achieve a golden value for your website. At the outset, submit your website URL to 100+ Search Engines and 500+ Quality online directories that give you quality link-backs. Write good relevant articles and submit them into quality Article sites. You may also submit your Press-notes into quality Press-release directories. Put your Ads into free classified directories. You may also go for link-exchange campaigns but Google has stopped giving much weightage to these links.

Tip 3: Social Media

Make a list of quality social networking sites where in you can go and bookmark your important web-pages into these social sites. You may also create your blogs (relevant to your services), post good content on these and make them more interactive for more visitors to visit them. One such good social marketing is posting comments into good blogs or forums and thereby creating a rich link-base. You are sure to get high traction through social media marketing. It may go as high as getting 2000 hits in just 5 days on one single comment posted with a link to our website. It really makes a lot of difference!

Buyers rely heavily upon search and social media for researching products and services.
It is therefore critical that you not only have relevant and detailed content on your website, but you must be showing up where they are searching for you. To do so you must undertake an integrated and comprehensive search and social media marketing effort.

In this new frontier of SOCIAL MARKETING, you can spike your traffic FAST, and if you do it right, you get LONG TERM search engine traffic too. It’s really the best of both worlds. Free traffic and higher search engine rankings!

Plus! Higher Conversions

Here’s the final key ingredient… and that’s the fact that social marketing means that the huge flood of EXTRA traffic you are going to get on your site is already PRE-SOLD. You already have a relationship with them… and they are going to convert into customers at a rate you haven’t seen since your grandmother visited your lemonade stand when you were a kid.

It’s this simple… people like to buy from people that they already know, like, and trust. And your social marketing campaign will give you the kind of presence so that people already KNOW you, LIKE you, and TRUST you before they even hit your web site. It’s not rocket science.

In a recent test performed by a well respected marketing analysis firm MarketingExperiments.com, a site that runs online tests and records the results in their newsletters. They recently concluded a 12-month test where they measured the results of social marketing versus buying paid traffic to a series of 4 sites.

Here is what they found…

Using social marketing, they were able to generate over 93,000 visitors to their sites, paying an employee to do the social marketing work for a total of $3600 during that time, resulting in a total cost per visitor of 4 cents.

Then they ran a one month test driving traffic from Google AdWords. Using that strategy, they obtained 2,057 visitors after investing $1,250 in click costs, resulting in a cost per visitor of 61 cents. Four 4 cents versus 61 cents – social marketing yielded a 1,427% better return on their investment. Not bad!

By now I’m sure that you’re foaming at the mouth, wanting to dive in and take advantage of the huge opportunity that Social Marketing presents.

My newest product devoted to applying the techniques of getting traffic from social networking, involves three sites that will get your social marketing off to a great start. They are MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. In my videos I show you why they work and how to set them up to get the fastest results.

There are no secrets! It’s all about creating a presence on each one, developing friends and a relationship with your friends! The rest (traffic) comes naturally when you use social networking the right way!

1) Blog frequently

Most new bloggers dislike hearing this. Trust me when I say that the struggle for content is ongoing. New bloggers, however, feel like it’s just happening to them. The truth is, don’t get a blog just to have a blog. Get it and keep it updated. It’s the quickest way to gaining traffic. How often should you blog? Three times a week. The best days to blog? Studies have shown that Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are key days for blogging.

2) Stay on point

I tell authors this a lot: stay on point, stay on topic. Why? Because if you don’t you’ll lose readership. Once someone commits to your blog they want to keep reading relevant information. So don’t blog one day about your book, your speaking, or your mission and the next day share Aunt Ethel’s pot roast recipe.

3) Plan your blogs

While spontaneity is the catalyst for creativity, planning is a good way to stay on track. Start to map out key dates that you want to blog about that have some relation to your topic – this way when you’re at a loss for topics, you can always pick one from your list of planned out blogs. Also, consider these topics to blog about:

a) Future predictions: everyone loves these, to the degree that you can predict market trends in your industry do it, and the readership will follow.

b) Discuss industry news: what’s happening in your industry that you can talk about? Even if you’re a fiction writer there’s always *something* going on worth mentioning in publishing, writing, or marketing that directly relates to your topic.

c) The elephant in the room: talk about the stuff that everyone is afraid of. What new trends are emerging that consumers/readers/companies need to be aware of? What’s next for your market and how will it affect the industry? How can we keep publishing books when we already publish 800 a day? You see what I mean? Think of things that frighten you and talk about them. People will respond. Every time I do this I get a ton of comments on my blog.

d) Write reviews: review other people’s books, product or work. This is a great way to network and to become a “filter” for your market. Filter out the new stuff and feature it on your blog (this goes for you fiction writers too!).

e) Other blogs: what are people talking about? What did your favorite blog just say? Virtual networking (with other bloggers) is a great way to grow your content and get to know others in cyberspace. Don’t forget to link to the blog you’re discussing!

4) Invite comments on your blog!

This is really important! The more folks you can get commenting, the quicker your blog will get passed around. If you have a “no comment” feature on your blog, remove it! You want people to be able to comment and give feedback. In fact, at the end of every blog, why not invite readers to comment? If you start getting a lot of responses to this, begin featuring your favorite comments in future blog posts!

5) Comment on hot topics in the news

The quickest way to get traffic is to get your blog featured on a high-traffic site. But how can you do this? By commenting on news stories. Most major news sites have a feature that will list blogs that are talking about the various news stories. Not all blogs get featured but: a) if your if your topic is related to the story they’ve featured; and b) you’ve written an insightful post on the topic, you’ll likely get listed. For an example of what these look like take a peek at a recent story on CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/law/09/14/simpson/index.html

6) Digg yourself

Make sure that your blog has a bookmarking feature. Sites like Digg and http://Del.icio.us are great places to get started. You can go there, sign up for an account (very easy to do) and then follow their instructions for bookmarking your individual posts. This is important! You don’t want to bookmark the blog but rather, the posts. The posts will then show up in these sites and, hopefully, other folks will bookmark them as well. Even if no one else bookmarks your posts, it doesn’t matter. You can still get traffic by being positioned on these sites. Super simple to do, go ahead, give it a shot!

7) Twitter your blog

Got something to say? Try microblogging at Twitter: http://www.twitter.com. It’s a free service that asks the question: What are you doing now? Go in, sign up and start posting your messages with links back to your blog. We tried this and it’s fantastic. You can also blog from your cell phone and blackberry. You can not only use it to promote your blog but your book, speaking event, whatever you want. It might sound like a “who cares” idea, but trust me, everyone’s Twittering these days.

 Syndicate yourself

Using simple RSS feeds through http://www.feedblitz.com you can syndicate yourself and let folks subscribe to your blog. If they don’t have a way to subscribe to your blog, they may forget you altogether. Once someone subscribes, every time you post new content it will notify them. And the best part? Your messages won’t get stuck in someone’s spam filter. They’ll get the notification, head to your blog and voila! Your readership stays engaged and growing.

Finally, don’t use an “official” voice on your blog. Pretend you’re sitting across from your reader over coffee. Talk to them in a more casual, conversational tone and you’ll not only get more readers, you’ll likely get more comments too! It doesn’t take much to grow a blog, just a little dedication and creativity. Happy blogging!

Wondering how to use Twitter but not able to find a good clue? Well, here’s something that can help you out in this regard. Twitter can be used in several ways, depending upon your intentions behind Twittering.

You can use Twitter with the following intentions:

To drive traffic to your blogs
To build your profile or perceived expertise in a niche/industry
Just as a branding exercise
To use it to network with others in your niche
As a social exercise and past-time
Show your personal side and opinions to your followers

However, it is important that you don’t try to use Twitter for all these reasons at a time. Just as it is important to learn how to use Twitter effectively, it is equally important to remember to create one account for a specific reason. For instance, if you’re trying to promote your business via a Twitter account, it just makes no sense to write your personal views and trying to drive some traffic through your Tweets.

Even if you try to do so, you’ll end up spoiling your business identity and also failing in achieving the other goals. So, what do you do? Well, nobody is stopping you from creating multiple accounts and you can definitely Tweet around via multiple accounts, with each account targeting a sole aim.

While learning how to use Twitter for branding and business promotion, it is important that you load the avatar as the logo of your organization, not your personal photo (even if you’re the founder, CEO, COO, chairman or whatever).

Moreover, remember until you learn how to use Twitter well, don’t try to spam around, because you can badly hurt your identity as well as your business promotion campaign. It is highly necessary that you tweet only original info. Don’t forget that Twitter users are smart enough to discover duplicate content pretty easily. Once somebody realizes that you’re Tweeting duplicate content, nobody will be interested to read the junk anymore. After this, all your posts will be treated as Spam and Junk, irrespective of how informative they may be.

Furthermore, until you master how to use Twitter, you should mind the fact that you must not sound too self-centred. It is important that you don’t forget that everybody hates selfish and self-centred writers as well as individuals as a whole, so something similar applies to the Twitterers too.

Every good tweet that you write you learn how to use Twitter in a better manner, and every tweet counts. It is possible that you might be trying hard to drive good traffic to your website or blog but failing to do so. Suddenly, you come up with some really useful info, and just 2-3 of your outstanding tweet loaded with quality content start driving in massive traffic to your website for quite sometime.

Lastly, you must remain fully active, promote your twitter feed, and monitor your “reply ratio” closely, until you succeeding in figuring out how to use Twitter best to your advantage.

Every few years, a new form of communication emerges and everyone seems to jump on the bandwagon. The most recent trend today is Twitter, a new way to tell everyone you know what you are doing! Many people these days love to update their Twitter so that they can connect with their friends, whenever they may need to. Having the most amounts of Twitter follows is also very important. People are always looking for new ways on how to find Twitter followers. If you are on the same search, take a look at these great tips and tools that will give you everything you need!

Obviously, you will need to have some sort of purpose or message that will hook in the followers. Filling out your bio is one of the best ways to introduce yourself. Your bio is basically your first impression. People who come to you will look at your bio and then decide whether they want to follow you or not.

You may also learn how to find Twitter followers by using other portals of communication. Facebook and Myspace have been around for years and still remain quite popular. If you are looking to get more followers for your Twitter page, you should create a new Facebook or Myspace page and advertise. This will draw in even more attention and in turn, generate more Twitter followers. It is always important to remember that people all over the world use the internet, which means millions of people are looking at your Twitter page.

You should also use the Twitter world as well when it comes to how to find Twitter followers. Most people like to follow the top Twitter users. You can use them as an example and take notes on what they are Tweeting. Once you have the general idea, you will be able to unleash your knowledge on your Twitter.

Following people is also a very good way to learn how to find Twitter followers. Most people will return the favor if they notice you have started following them. The more people that you are following, the more people you are likely to have following your Twitter. You can simply find people that you may know and branch out from there. Finding people that you already know will allow you to connect to other people that they know. The more people that you already know the more people will be following you.

For the most part, you want to utilize Twitter to your every advantage. Learning how to find Twitter followers is not as difficult as you might think. If you can simply think outside of the box and take what Twitter offers, you will have thousands of followers. Get online right now and start tweaking your Twitter page and using the Twitter tools. Start joining groups as well as inviting people to your page; if you can get yourself out there, you will have the followers you want. Once you start finding followers, followers will start finding you!

If you’re like me, I got really tired of paying for my traffic and striving to get a higher search engine ranking. The competition is getting tougher and tougher. Although I am getting more successful with my Google and Yahoo Marketing campaigns and that’s mainly because I’m getting more experienced at it. But believe me, I’ve wasted a lot of money going through the learning curve.

But I’ve gotten smarter! I’ve found a way to generate a lot more traffic to my website and it’s absolutely free! Yes, I’m going to continue using my adwords, but not as much as I have in the past.

How did I get smarter? I kept hearing how social media was going to be the wave of the future when it comes to internet marketing. So I started setting up a couple of accounts on sites like Facebook, MySpace, UTube and Twitter. Started asking people to be my friends and guess what started to happen. You guessed it! I started getting a lot more traffic to my blog and websites, best of all, it’s free traffic. I don’t have to work at getting ranking anymore. The back links from my media sites helps me to rank even higher in the search engines than I did when I worked at it.

If you use social marketing correctly, it will drive big traffic DIRECTLY to your site from the social media sites that you get involved with…and that’s huge. After all, that is really the holy grail, isn’t it?

We all want more traffic to our site, right?

You may not realize it, but social media sites have more traffic than Google. And if you use the right strategies and tactics to put yourself in front of that traffic, then you don’t have rely on Google to get traffic to your sites. And best of all, you don’t have to worry about expensive AdWords campaigns or other forms of advertising.

Of course, let’s be real here… just because you start getting big traffic directly from the social media sites doesn’t mean you will abandon your Google rankings and stop all advertising. What it means is that you will be getting a lot more traffic, and the average cost of that traffic will plummet down to levels that are from the stone ages when it comes to the internet…. that’s what I call “back to the future”!

Popularity of the Twitter social network is growing tremendously on a daily basis. It’s the perfect place for people and businesses to share their thoughts and suggestions for personal and business benefit. Businesses can profit from the use of Twitter, and building your business with Twitter is possible if you have the knowledge.

Enjoy the benefits of Twitter business marketing

There are many benefits to using the Twitter social marketing program. Some of the most important benefits include the following:

News related to your niche, and technologies related to it are available online when and where needed. The latest enhancements to make your job and marketing endeavor easier can be found. Also many people are willing to share their experiences and ideas with others who need the information and assistance.

Using Twitter is an excellent method for traffic generation. More visitors to your website and online presence will help to increase sales, and perhaps more importantly potential sales.

The social database is a very good source for building a contact list, finding potential employees for your business and more sales will be generated from your marketing efforts. Many professional marketers have built their contact lists in this manner.

Prove to the community you are an expert in your niche. The more beneficial information you can provide, the better the impression that you leave.

Another benefit is that using the network marketing method is free. The only investment is your effort, time and determination.

Not only is this enterprise used for building your business, it can also be fun to keep in touch with your family friends and colleagues. Share an entry or two to let people know what you have been doing. Let your true self shine through when posting comments

Easy and valuable tips for successfully building your business with Twitter

1.Twitter is a place where people share information about themselves and other aspects of their lives and their specific niche. Because of this, it is important not to spam. If, in error, you are banned the possibility of building your business with Twitter will be exhausted.

2.You should follow people and not only have followers. The more people you follow and the more followers you have, and the higher your exposure will be.

3.Post information and share comments as often as possible. Posting may be time consuming but worth the time and efforts when you reap the benefits. Commenting or reply to other member posts is also recommended.

4.As the saying goes, “Garbage in, garbage out.” Post information followers can benefit from.

5.Build your collection of followers. You may be intimidated by knowing this but the task is not as difficult as you think. Links to your Twitter ID can be placed on your own website and also in the signature in forums and message boards used for promotion of your website.

6.Follow as many people as possible. Try to balance the number of people following you to the number of people you are following.
